A complete website redesign for Nicolas Chéron, one of France's most influential financial educators, built to convert his growing audience into loyal newsletter subscribers through a bold personal brand and automated content workflows.
Nicolas Chéron is a renowned financial markets expert with over 20 years of experience in trading, investing, and market analysis. Known for his transparent, educational, and accessible approach, he has built one of the largest French-speaking financial communities online. His newsletter reaches more than 54,000 subscribers who rely on his weekly insights to navigate the markets with confidence. Beyond the newsletter, Nicolas has cultivated a strong social media presence with over 300,000 followers across X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn — making him one of the most followed independent financial voices in the francophone world.
At the time, his existing website no longer reflected the scale and credibility of his personal brand. The project called for a modern, conversion-focused platform that could serve as the central hub for his content ecosystem — connecting his newsletter, social channels, and educational resources under one cohesive digital identity.

The primary objective was to build a web identity that truly matches Nicolas's authority in the financial space. His previous site lacked the visual impact and strategic structure needed to convert casual visitors into engaged subscribers. Every page was designed with a clear hierarchy, guiding users naturally toward the newsletter sign-up — which is the core of Nicolas's business model. The layout, copywriting prompts, and call-to-action placements were all engineered to maximize conversion rates while maintaining an editorial feel that reinforces trust.
Beyond conversion, the site also needed to automate Nicolas's content distribution. As a one-person media brand producing daily market commentary, he couldn't afford to manually update his website every time he published a new analysis. An integrated workflow was built to automatically sync his latest content to the site, reducing friction and ensuring his audience always has access to fresh insights — no matter which platform they arrive from.

The first major challenge was executing the migration without any SEO loss. Nicolas had built up significant organic traffic over the years, and a careless migration could have wiped out months of ranking progress. All existing URLs were carefully mapped, proper 301 redirects were implemented, and meta data was preserved to ensure a seamless transition in the eyes of search engines.
The second challenge was building a CMS structure that gives Nicolas full autonomy over his content. As someone who publishes frequently and independently, he needed a backend that is intuitive enough to update without developer support. A structured Webflow CMS was designed with clearly defined content types, making it easy for him to add new articles, update his portfolio of analyses, and manage his media appearances — all on his own.
Finally, an automated workflow was engineered connecting the website to his newsletter platform.
